Kenneth Morris Pressley, 76, died Dec. 24, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born in Richmond County, a son Lester Washington and Betty Lou Smith Pressley.

Mr. Pressley was retired from CSX Railroad.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Pressley in 2006.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Northam Cemetery Extension with Rev. Ernie Walters officiating.

Surviving are a daughter, Jean Locklear of Rockingham; sons, David Pressley of Rockingham and Danny Pressley of Ellerbe; sister, Sarah Rorie of Charleston, S.C.; brothers, Richard “Butch” Pressley and Bruce Pressley both of Rockingham; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
