KINGDOM CONNECTION CHURCH will be feeding the homeless and less fortunate from noon until 2 p.m. All are invited to come and share in the gift of giving. If you know of anyone in need bring them out to share at this time.

NEW HOPE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1596 Hwy. 74, Hamlet, and their Men Progressive Department will sponsor the monthly third Saturday fellowship breakfast from 8 a.m. until 110 a.m. in the fellowship hall. On Dec. 20, they will have a Church Christmas Program at the East Hamlet Community Center.

NEW HOPE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1596 Hwy. 74, Hamlet, will bid farewell to Rev. Dr. Wade H. Gatewood during their 11 a.m. worship. He is retiring after 51 years at New Hope. Rev. Curtis Everette Gatewood will speak.

PLEASANT HILL BAPTIST CHURCH, 359 Pleasant Hill Church Road, Ellerbe, will have their Christmas program at 6 p.m.

CRESTVIEW BAPTIST CHURCH’S Adult Choir will present the cantata Love Transcending by John Peterson at the 11 a.m. worship service. The choir is directed by Jody Honeycutt. The children’s program will be that evening at 7 p.m.

EAST ROCKINGHAM FWB CHURCH, 189 Airport Road, Rockingham, young adults will perform a skit of Lifehouse “Everything” at 6 p.m.

ST. LUKE #2 FWB CHURCH, 119 Morrow St., Dobbins Heights, will host Minister Norma Jones on Dec. 20 for the 11:15 a.m. worship.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 208 Charlotte St., Hamlet, will present a Christmas cantata, “Jesus Our Emmanuel” by Marty Parks at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary.

BETHEL HILL AME ZION CHURCH will have a program at 3 p.m. presented by the Stewardess Board. Preacher will be Rev. Sharon Jackson of Victory Faith Fellowship Church of Hamlet.

FAITH MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, Pastor Ernie Walters and the congregation invite everyone to worship on at 11 a.m. and Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. In the 11 a.m. worship service, the choir will render cantata under the direction of Winfred Sowders, entitled, “Hallelujah, Christ Jesus is Born”. George & Sandra Long will present children’s bible time. Fenny Williams will conduct children’s church. The children will present their CHRIST-mas ministry entitled, “The Christmas Story through The Eyes of the Friendly Beast” at 7 p.m.
