Dec. 12

THE EAST ROCKINGHAM UNITED METHODIST CHURCH MEN’S CLUB will sponsor a pancake breakfast from 7 a.m.-10 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. The charge is $3. All you can eat! A sweets and crafts sale will be held at the same time.

EMMANUEL MINISTRIES YOUTH is having a breakfast from 7-11 a.m., eat in or take out. 725 West Hamlet Ave., Hamlet.

THE DOMINO EFFECT TALENT SHOW AND TOPPLING CONTEST will be held at the Leak Street Education and Cultural Community Center at 3 p.m. The event is intended to promote awareness about alcohol- and drug-related problems in the community.

BREAKFAST AND PICTURES WITH SANTA at First Presbyterian Church Weekday School in Hamlet, 8-11 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. The pancake breakfast is $4 and pictures are $5.

THE SANDHILLS RINGERS, a community handbell choir, will present “Christmas Around the World” at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Rockingham.

CHRISTMAS HANDBELL CONCERT 5 p.m., First United Methodist Church, 300 Charlotte St., Hamlet. Tired of being caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season? Stressed to the Max with unfinished tasks? Come and share in the joyous music of the season. This is a free concert of heavenly music.

EAST ROCKINGHAM MENS’ CLUB CHRISTMAS DINNER, 7 p.m. at the East Rockingham Senior Center, at the Herbert C. Diggs Memorial Park.

COMMUNITY MEETING on voluntary agriculture districts will be held at 7 p.m. at the Richmond County Agricultural Services Center. FIRST BAPTIST IN ELLERBE will present a Singing Christmas Tree at 6:30 p.m. and again Sunday, Dec. 20 at 10:45 a.m. Event is free and open to the public.
