Aggie Mae McKay Waddell 92, of 102 Hillview Circle in Rockingham died Sunday Dec. 6, 2009 at Rockingham Manor.

Mrs. Waddell was born Sept. 21, 1917 in Marlboro County, S.C. to the late Robert and Aggie Adam McKay.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Greater Diggs AME Zion Church with Rev. Annie Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving are two sons Chester Waddell of Newark, N.J. and Vance Waddell of Rockingham; three sisters Hattie M. Waddell of Rockingham, Annie B. Beatty of Charlotte and Bertha Buchanan of Charlotte, 30 grandchildren, 20 great-gradchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1-7 p.m. at McNeill Funeral Home Chapel.
