The Richmond County GOP hosted their annual "Christmas with the GOP" at Ellerbe Springs Inn and Restaurant on Tuesday. In conjunction with the annual event, a candidate forum for US House Congressional District 8 was held. All Republican candidates who are vying for the office of Rep. Larry Kissell were in attendance. Approxmately 50 Richmond County Republican members and guests were in attendance for this event. Other special guests included: David Black GOP District 8 chairman, Travis Billingsley newly elected Rockingham city councilman and various GOP chairman from counties in the eighth district.
