Two armed men forcibly entered a home on Rockingham Road on Nov. 16 and held three people at gunpoint, according to reports filed with the Rockingham Police Department.

Police reports state that one of the victims answered the front door around 1 a.m. and was pulled outside by an unidentified suspect who held a semi-automatic pistol to their head.

It was observed that when the victim answered the door, the suspect asked for an “Angela.”

Once the suspect thrust the victim back into the house, a second suspect entered the home.

Two other tenants of the home walked out of their bedrooms after hearing the commotion, one of which was also held at gunpoint by the second armed man.

All three were commanded to lie on the ground while the intruders ransacked the house.

The perpetrators told the homeowners that a third man was outside as a look-out, according to reports.

They proceeded to take property, particularly electronics, from the house.

Noted in the report was that a suspect referred to the other as, “bro” during the robbery.

After the suspects took off from the house, the victims contacted Rockingham police.

The Richmond County Sheriffs Office’s K-9 unit also responded to the call and were able to track the scent as far as Wild Cherry Avenue in Rockingham, but lost the scent at a near-by church.

According to reports, most of the property was recovered in the yard near a patch of woods.
