Richmond County Water Service will be interrupted on Wednesday and Thursday for all county customers residing on U.S. 1 North in Hoffman and all adjacent streets, beginning at the BP Station.

Water will be turned off no earlier than 8 a.m. and will be restored as soon as possible.

Contractors will be working on the water system in different locations each day, therefore not all customers in this area will be affected every day. Some customers may not be affected at all. Please be prepared for short water outages on any of these days.

This should complete the water service interruption for this highway project.

County officials suggest a bathtub be filled to provide water during the time services are off. In order to prevent the possibility of damage to your water heater, officials recommend turning off the hot water heater circuit breaker until water service has been restored. If the entrance panel uses fuses, simply remove the fuse.
