SEABOARD FESTIVAL in Hamlet starts with 5K run at 8 a.m. and opening ceremony at 9 a.m. Music will be provided.

JACKSON SPRINGS COMMUNITY CLUB will hold their annual chicken and dumpling supper on Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. at the Club House in Jackson Springs, located on Mill Road. There will be items for sale and an Auction. All funds raised help provide scholarships for deserving students in the Jackson Springs Area and other community needs.

MASONIC HAM BREAKFAST, Hamlet Masonic Lodge 532 A.F. & A.M., 307 Main St., Hamlet will hold its annual Seaboard Festival Ham Breakfast from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. Eat in or take out at $6 a plate. All proceeds to support Masonic charities. Call 582-3594.

RICHMOND COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY, Due to rain the society’s trip to Touchstone is rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31. The caravan will leave from the Rankin Museum at 9:45 a.m., going first to the Bostic School House.

COLE AUDITORIUM: “Corbian: A Glow in the Dark Adventure” light show will be presented on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Richmond Community College’s Cole Auditorium.
