Karen Lynn Idol and Michael Phillip Hinson Sr.
The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Dennis Gordon Idol and Mildred Idol of Rockingham. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Oaks of Kings Mountain. She attended Rohanen High School.
The groom is the son of Eddie Vance Hinson Jr. and Eula Mae Hinson of Rockingham. He is the grandson of Eddie Vance Hinson Sr. and Annie Maude Hinson of Rockingham.
The bride was given in marriage by Kevin Lyn Rowell, the best man and Angela Michelle Tew, the maid of honor.
The reception was held at the Huddle House in Rockingham and the couple took their wedding trip to Myrtle Beach. The couple now resides in Rockingham.
