Richmond County Water Services will be interrupted Thursday and Friday and then again Monday, Nov. 2, Tuesday, Nov. 3 and Wednesday Nov. 4 for all county customers residing on U.S. 1 North in Hoffman, and all adjacent streets, beginning at the BP Station.

Water will be turned off no earlier than 8 a.m. and will be restored as soon as possible.

Contractors will be working on the water system in different locations each day. Therefore not all customers in this area will be affected every day. Some customers may not be affected at all. Please be prepared for short water outages on any of these days.

This should complete the water service interruptions for this highway project.

County officials suggests a bathtub be filled to provide water during the time services are off. And in order to prevent damage to the water heater, officials recommend turning off the hot water heater circuit breaker until water service has been restored.
