Roberdel Children’s Center teachers Joye Cundiff and Jody Honeycutt, team up their classes this week to read from “The Pumpkin Book,” by Gail Gibbons. The children sang Halloween songs and watched Honeycutt carve a Jack-o-lantern. The pumpkin provided the students an opportunity to experience different textures by feeling the pumpkin and seeds removed from inside. The Roberdel Children’s Center provides classes for K-12th grade students with severe and multiple mental and/or physical disabilities.
