Two Richmond County children won the bicycles at the 2008 Annual Richmond County Agricultural Fair, held in Hamlet from last week. The bicycles were donated by the Richmond County Agricultural Fair. The winners this year are Cody Eason, (right) from the Washington Street School, and Christopher Helms from the Monroe Avenue School. Tickets for the bikes were handed out to all schools in Richmond County. The K-5 and 6-12 grade student tickets are used by school age children to get into the Fair ‘Free’ for first three days of the Fair, with a chance to win a bicycle for the K-5 students. The student tickets are sponsored by McDonalds where the ticket stub can be used for a discount meal.
