Auditorium at Richmond Community College as the a cappella group Chapter
6 performs at 3 p.m. on Oct. 25.
“The show features a diverse repertoire of jazz, classical, and
American popular music from Gershwin to Stevie Wonder,” said Joey Bennett, director of the Cole Auditorium. “The group will
also perform original compositions. Their contagious and youthful energy
will be a big hit with our audience,”
Chapter 6 is composed of six vocalists and one arranger and hails from
Illinois. The group won The international competition of Collegiate A
Cappella in 2001 and the National Harmony Sweepstakes in
2004. They appeared with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy
Center and were featured on "American Idol: Season 7" in conjunction
with band mate Luke Menard.
While DeWitt Series season ticket holders will enjoy the performance as
a part of their season ticket package, single tickets are available for

This is the 10th season of the DeWitt Performing Arts Series. The
series, funded in part by the generosity of the DeWitt family, includes
Brenda Lee and Shirley Jones in upcoming shows for the 2009-2010 season.

performances of the season.
