I know everyone had fun at the Bucky concert because I was there to see it and did he put on a great show. My wife had a great idea. If everyone wants Rockingham to be Bucky’s home, then why not show him how proud we are of him. You could make a sign like Marshville did and say “Home of Bucky Covington” and put it where everyone could see it that comes into our county.

Man, it's Bucky's money, let him spend it as he pleases as long as he earns it with top performances and recordings. Who knows, he might have had something in mind to give back to Rockingham, and nobody really had to ask it from him. But it's all this bellyaching that could queer the deal. If I were Bucky and I'd read such comments I wouldn't give this place a penny. Maybe you can take your pleas to Bono or Brangelina.

well said bocephus if he cared for richmond county and all of those who voted for him when he was an idol contestant he would be giving some of that money back to the county and the school system he could probably get it back when he files taxes anyways

Bocephus, I'm not going to get mad at your comments on Bucky Covington because you're not worth getting mad at. You don't have a nice thing to say about anybody, do you? I'm no big fan of Bucky's but I did hear he put on one heck of a show for his old friends. That's all that counts.

Bucky is just like some of the other people that made it big. The only reason he played Rockingham is to get noticed....make a name for himself. I don't care what anybody in the county says. Bucky only cares about number one...himself. Yall can get mad if you want.
