When Alcohol and Drug Services asked each to participate each owner/manager said yes without any delay. Each restaurant owner/manager was more than happy to help by offering free kids meal with each paid adult.
“Karen” with Fatz Cafe came up with the wonderful idea to offer a coloring contest for kids that ate in Fatz that night. These restaurants helped build family memories that will last a life time. Again, thank you so much to each restaurant and local agencies such NC Mentor, Richmond County Health Department, Richmond County Work First Program, Second Baptist Christian School, Holly Grove Church, Rev. Dorsey and Dobbins Height Councilwoman Angline David, and Kings Gate Church for helping Alcohol and Drug Services to promote this day by helping to get the word out.
Your help really helped make this a successful 2009 National Family Day.
