He was born Feb. 2, 1947 in Anson County to the late James Thomas and Lenora Watson.
Memorial services will be held Saturday Oct. 3, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
Surviving are his wife Loretta Watson of the home; one daughter Jacqueline Watson of the home; Eight sisters Mary Lee Watson, Rosia Chambers, Juretha Colson, Sally Watson, Mary K. McLean all of Wadesboro, Shirley Ingram of High Point, and Venetta Graham of Tucson, AZ and Betty Gamble of Troutman: Three brothers James T. Watson of Brooklyn, NY, William Watson of Lilesville and Jeffery Watson of Wadesboro.
McNeill Funeral Home of Rockingham is in charge of the arrangements.
