Rockingham Civitan Club installed new officers for the year 2009 and 2010 Thursday. New officers include Inell Allen (Director), Verna Grant (Secretary), Emma Ellerbe (Chaplain), second row T.C. Hall (President), Chris McDuffie (Past President), Richard Martin (Director), Lazelle Marks (Treasurer), not pictured are Tommy Infinger (Sergeant at Arms) and Kenny Melvin (Director). The Citizen of the Year Award was presented to Ken Melvin, who passed away, so the award was taken to his wife Jeannette Melvin at her home. The Rockingham Civitan Club meets at the First Health Hospital on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 7 p.m.
