“One of the trademarks of our forums is the opportunity for our students and community members to share their work before their peers,” said Ron Bayes, faculty director of the forum and writer-in-residence. “The Open Mic sessions allow for these readings to be the main attraction.”
Student host Emily Threlkeld will maintain a sign up list for order of reading. It is requested that readings be kept to three to five minutes to allow for all interested parties to have a chance to read.
Free and open to the public, the Writers’ Forum begins at 8 p.m. in Orange Main Lounge on the campus of St. Andrews Presbyterian College.
