DEDICATION: Naming the Rockingham National Guard Armory the “First Sergeant Walter E. Bostick Readiness Center” at 1 p.m. From 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. there will be a reunion for soldiers who served in the 881st Engineer group.

4-H GOAT SHOW: Will be held on Dale DeWitt’s farm on Hwy. 73 in Ellerbe. The show traditionally draws around 50 4-H’ers from across the region to show their animals and showmanship skills. PANCAKE BREAKFAST: East Rockingham United Methodist Church Men’s Club will sponsor a pancake breakfast Saturday, from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. in church fellowship hall. The charge is $3. All you can eat. A sweets and crafts sale will be held at the same time.
