The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009 at the North Laurinburg Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Ed Pilarczyk. Burial will follow the service at Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Mrs. Cribb was born Nov. 11, 1952 in Richmond County, daughter of the late Harold and Ethel Craven. She was a devoted homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired in textiles after many years of dedicated service. Wanda faithfully attended the North Laurinburg Baptist Church and enjoyed being a member of the Tuesday Cruisers in Laurinburg.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ralph Almodovar.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 15 years, Gilbert A. Cribb, Sr. of the home; her children, daughters, Gwendolyn “Gwen” Almodovar of El Paso, TX, Jennifer Moore and her husband Jay of Sanford, NC, sons, Robert Locklear and his wife, April of Raleigh, NC , Franklin Lacy Britt, III of Laurinburg, NC, Gilbert A. Cribb, Jr., and his wife, Diane of Atlanta, GA, Barry Cribb of Raeford, NC; a brother, Jerry Craven of Laurinburg, NC; sisters, Cynthia Ezzell of Godwin, NC, Janice “Darlene” Barton of Maxton, NC; ten grandchildren, BreAnna Almodovar, Nicholas Almodovar, Seraphin Locklear, Shantashia McNeill, Destiny Morgan, Matthew Cribb, Benjamin Cribb, Ryan Miller, Austin Miller and Miranda Miller; a special aunt and uncle, William Albert Craven and Joanne Craven of Gibson, NC
