Raiders ranked fourth in poll; Independence first

Richmond Senior received three first place votes in the latest top 25 poll by CarolinasPreps.com.

Charlotte Independence led the voting with eight first-place votes while Matthews Butler followed with seven.

Four teams dropped out of the rankings this week: Kannapolis Brown, Winston-Salem Mt. Tabor, Wilmington Hoggard, and Charlotte Catholic. Replacing them were Shelby Crest, Asheville, Rocky Mount and Greensboro Page.
