Wayne Wallace, 41, of Rockingham went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born September 18, 1967, a son of the Wayne and Margaret Wallace.

 Mr. Wallace was a retired truck driver.  He loved his job of traveling.  It gave him the opportunity to visit many historical places.  He, especially, loved the history of the old Wild West.

 A private graveside service was conducted at Richmond Memorial Park.

 Wayne leaves behind his parents; a sister, Angela Goodwin, husband Chris and son Trevor.  He also leaves behind a precious daughter, Brenna Wallace of Level Cross.

 Memorials may be made to the First Health Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst,  NC  28374.

 Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham assisted the Wallace family.
