St. Andrews joins the ranks of only 15 percent of colleges and universities in the country who share this honor.
In making the announcement, GI Jobs Magazine made note of St. Andrews’ efforts to offer programs and opportunities for servicemembers and veterans that honor their vital service to our country.
Rich McCormack, a 22-year Navy veteran and Publisher of G.I. Jobs Magazine noted “Clearly you have an interest in recruiting military students, and I urge you to continue your already stellar efforts by improving your military-friendliness every year. On behalf of the 8 million military members and veterans seeking a school, I thank you for your commitment to educating our nation’s most deserving heroes.”
“St. Andrews is uniquely positioned, both geographically and educationally, to offer unique and attractive programs to military members and veterans,” said Robert J. Hopkins, St. Andrews vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college. “Through our main campus and our Center for Adult and Extended Programs, military members can access online, traditional classroom, evening, and weekend opportunities to meet their educational goals.
