ROCKINGHAM — Due to rain earlier in the week, today will be a double action-packed day of Legends and Bandolero racing at the Little Rock at the Rockingham Speedway.

Rain forced cars off the track on Wednesday, so the feature events washed out will be made up today.

“We’ve got a bunch of hardware left to give out,” said Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg referring to the numerous trophies that will be handed out to race winners today. “There is still of lot of racing left before we close the book on the inaugural Battle in the Carolinas.”

Cars hit the track this morning for practice and qualifying at 9:30 with feature races rolling off at approximately 11 a.m.

Pit access is $50 for all classes on Saturday. General admission for spectators is free.
