ROCKINGHAM — Racing action is returning to the Rockingham Speedway Aug. 12-15 with “Battle in the Carolinas” featuring Bandoleros, Thunder Roadsters and Legends cars at the quarter-mile “Little Rock.”

Races featuring Bandit, Young Gun, Outlaw, Young Lion, Semi-Pro, Pro, Master and Thunder Roadster classes begin each day with practice beginning at 9:30 a.m. with main events slated to roll off at noon and run until 3:30 p.m.

“We are looking forward to four great days of racing at the ‘Little Rock,’” said Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg. “It should be a great event.”

Pit access is $25 a day for all classes, except for the Pro and Master, which are $35 per day or $100 for the four-day event. General admission for spectators and camping outside the track are free.
