Four incidents where someone threw objects at passing vehicles were reported to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, Capt. John Glidewell said.
On U.S. 74 Bypass, an object thrown at a vehicle caused $300 damage to the windshield.
On Green Lake Road, Rockingham, two incidents of rocks being thrown at vehicles were reported.
In one case, damage was $1,800. In the other incident, the damage was $1,000.
On U.S. 74 West, Rockingham, an object thrown at a vehicle caused $300 damage.

Other incidents reported to the sheriff’s office include:
n In the yard of a business on Ellerbe Road, Rockingham, someone stole $2,500 worth of metal.
n At a business on U.S. 220 North, Rockingham, someone stole $3,700 worth of property. It was later recovered.
n A 34-year-old woman told police she was hit in the face by a suspect at a house on Osborne Road, Rockingham.
n An 18-year-old woman was cut with a knife at a residence on Airport Road, Rockingham.
n At an office of a business on U.S. 220 North, Rockingham, someone did $500 damage to a door and stole a $500 television set, a $75 microwave, and $1,900 worth of DVDs.
n On Nicholson Road, Rockingham, someone stole a tiller valued at $400.
n At a house on Leatha Lane, Rockingham, someone hit a victim on the head and stole $20.
n At a house on Daniels Street, Dobbins Heights, someone did $50 damage to a window and stole $435 worth of property.
n A victim was assaulted in a parking lot on 2nd Street, Ellerbe, and $275 worth of electrical equipment was stolen from his vehicle.
n A man was cut with a knife by a suspect at a house on Park Street, Rockingham.
n At a house on Broadway Street, Rockingham, someone did $150 damage to a door and stole $250 worth of personal property and $150.
n On Northam Cemetery Road, four cement benches valued at $175 each were stolen from a cemetery.
n A air-conditioning unit valued at $4,000 was stolen from property on U.S. 1 North, Hoffman.
n A dog valued at $300 was stolen from a house on Ridge Street, Hamlet.
n A victim on Roberdel School Road, Rockingham, reported that $357.97 worth of charges were put on a credit card without authorization.
n A decorative yard water fountain valued at $850 was stolen from property on U.S. 74 East, Rockingham.
n At a house on Knight Street, Hoffman, someone did $67 damage to windows and $250 damage by burning a carpet.
n While at a business on U.S. 74 west Rockingham, a victim’s wallet was stolen for a loss of $75 and personal cards.
n On Robinson Avenue, Ellerbe, someone did $300 damage to a vehicle.
n On Sycamore Lane, Derby, a 27-year-old woman told deputies she was assaulted by a suspect.
n A Raleigh taxi driver told deputies a resident on Boyd Lake Road, Hamlet, did not pay $269 for a fare.
n A house on Bryson Drive, Hamlet, was broken into causing $200 damage, and $880 worth of property was stolen.
n A 40-year-old woman told deputies she was assaulted at a house on U.S. 1 North, Hoffman.
n A 36-year-old woman told deputies she was hit in the head with a bottle at a residence on Flowers Street, Rockingham.
n On 2nd Avenue, Aleo, Rockingham, $440 damage was done to property.
n At a house on Earl Franklin Drive, Dobbins Heights, $900 worth of property was stolen including two firearms.
