Leaders meet on BRAC plan

Richmond County Commissioner Pam Dillman was among five Richmond County residents to attend a focus group on the impact of the Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base Base Realingment and Closure Regional Task Force on the economies of the 11 surrounding counties.

Richmond County is expected to be one of seven counties to reap the greatest benefits from expansion at Fort Bragg. The event was hosted by UNC-Pembroke and Fayetteville State University.
