Mangum Track Club Boogie races

Local runners John Hutchinson of Rockingham (front left), Richard Lassiter of Hamlet (center) and David McKay of Rockingham (right) participated in Mangum Track Club’s Boogie Races Saturday evening. The races consisted of the 50-mile Bethel Hill Moonlight Boogie (with 66 registered participants) and the Boogie Marathon (with 84 registered participants). According to the Mangum Track Club, the course carries a 40 percent drop-out rate among veteran 50-milers.
