Never in our history has there been the audacity in government that we are experiencing with the current administration and never has our constitution suffered so many violations.
In addition, we have a president who, instead of proclaiming the greatness of America abroad, thinks it’s all about him and is doing his best to endear himself to other countries at America’s expense.
Since January 20 the rights of the people have been violated in an unprecedented manner.
Throughout America owners of businesses are receiving commands to close their profitable businesses and are being offered no restitution for their hard labor and money that established these businesses which have survived for years and have furnished jobs and services for their respective cities.
This new administration seems hell-bent on establishing the same socialism that gradually weakened and then destroyed the economy of other nations
This administration is currently pushing for a nationalized health plan that has failed in other countries.
This same plan has forced citizens of other nations to mortgage their homes and become financially bankrupt by coming to America for the life saving treatment needed after their own nationalized plan put them on a two-year waiting list, even in dire circumstances.
Many have received no reimbursement from their nationalized plan. Americans cannot afford a nationalized health plan.
It’s time that American citizens remind this administration that ‘we the people’ are in charge and we are “Endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights.” And despite Obama’s claim to the contrary, we are not Muslim:
Printed on our money are the words “In God We Trust” And we are still “One Nation under God”
Bonnie Wheeler
Andrews S.C.
(Bonnie Wheeler is a former resident of Richmond County)

Gosh- You didn't have to go to all that trouble to get info on me. All you had to do was ask If I were trying to hide something, I would use an alias instead of my real name. I've written as much as 1/5 of an entire page (G'tn Times) and it was published, much to my surprise. If you could go back into the archives, you could learn a lot.
O M G - If one cohabitates with his horse, his dog or another of the same-sex, government should have nothing to do with it, if it isn't illegal, which it has been in the past. An individual tried to marry his dog but was refused permission. Perhaps he should sue
And I detest slavery, whether it is to the government or to other indivicuals.
One search of the Gtowntimes and other papers around Andrews, shows Wheeler's no stranger to print south of the border either.
I fail to get multiple papers in two states printing apparently every other random thought that enters this poor person's head.
I'd hate to see the reject letters, much less her home life.
Bonnie Wheeler has a disorder for recognition, craving her name in print for a reason, and it's one we shouldn't encourage.
RCDJ can do what it likes, but I encourage folks to stop responding, hitting refresh, and driving up those page views, because as long as train wrecks on Springer sell ads, so does Bonnie Wheeler in the RCDJ.
She'll stop lashing out at reality and deal with her real problems when we stop enabling her distraction from whatever drives this obsession.
I was driving home yesterday listening to a preacher on the radio. He was talking about a BRIC meeting that is taking place in Russia.
BRIC stands for Brazil, Russia, India, and China. Know what this meeting was about? It was about destroying the American dollar. You know that one that says In God We Trust and has a picture of George Washington on it.
When Ronald Reagan opened up our markets and made it profitable for corporations to start shipping our jobs over seas there was one goal in mind. Destroy the economy of this country that was based on a healthy middle class. Are you in that group, Bonnie.
So when this BRIC group finishes their job the dollar will be totally worthless on world markets. The Depression that will follow in this country will make the Great Depression look like a cake walk. Get ready, Bonnie, it is going to happen in your lifetime. And you will be able to blame it on Clinton and the Democrats as you fight to find a crust of bread to eat.
They should be able to marry whoever they want. Right Bonnie?
The government should quit trying to tell a woman what to do with her body when it comes to pregnancy, right, Bonnie?
I bet you're still ticked off that they ended slavery, aren't you, Bonnie? What... you, had to be 14-15?
I joined the union. I was not indoctrinated into it. I learned about the union movement and what organized labor has done for this nation by studying history. I have lived it. Good and bad.
As far as the Democrats, I think they are wimps. But at least some of them listen. They aren't all sold out to the corporate greed mongers like the members of the Republican party are. The Republicans are the party of No. The party of Negative, the party of deceit, the party of fear mongering.
And being a union man, I can assure you that I am not enslaved by anything or anyone. Why? Because I have people who will stand up for me and for whom I will stand up. You don't have that. All you have is a bunch of back stabbers who will only stand with you as long as it doesn't cost them anything. As soon as they think standing up for you is going to cost them a lousy dollar, you will be on your own.
But then my world is significantly bigger than yours.
This nation should not have one dirt poor person while it has an abundance of filthy rich ones.
Enough is Enough!
And so what if your grand daughter works there. Are you saying that every mother and child your daughter sees is a worthless drug and alcohol guzzling drain on society? Some how I doubt that.
I think your mind is narrow, your vision blurred, and your moral outrage unfounded.
You live off the fat of a land that others struggled and died for and think becasue youi are who you are you deserve more than you have, even though you never worked for it. And because you have less you think everyone else should have less. Ain't abortion terrible and the gays are going to take over the world and the government is going to take away your guns.
And if they take God off the Money all will be lost.
There are not too many poor in America.
There are, however, those homes in which children suffer from the irresponsibility of parents. Those children suffer while the mother sits around all day smoking cigarettes and drinking beer My grand daughter (psychologist) works there.
Some parents (one parent homes) discourage their children to even attend college, they laugh at them for even mentioning it. Their attitude is if they don't make it the government will take care of them. That attidude is detrimental to individuals and the nation.
You hate Unions because they allow working people to stand up against the Corporate masters that you so idolize. When you see someone suffering from the loss of their health or their home you see someone who is lazy and careless. If you see a CEO that has raked in billions of dollars in pay and bonuses you see someone who is energetic and so very wise. Greed does not equate with your narrow view of life. It is a goal for which everyone should aspire.
I have dealt with people of your persuasion for 30 years of my life. And they always lose, and they never know why. And that is because they are going against the very Golden Rule that Jesus taught.
I have no desire for Government Control. However, since I pay for this government, and have probably paid a lot more for it than you have since union wages are higher thus taxed more, then I expect it to work for me.
The health insurance industry is run by greed mongers the same as every other large corporation in this nation and the wall street power brokers.
And the Republican party has done everything it can to destroy any program that helps people. I agree that there are problems with the welfare system. But throwing the baby out with the bath water will not solve the problem. And goody two shoes like you will not solve it either. I would put restrictions on women receiving welfare for more than two children and re-institute the welfare to work program. Even if that work meant cleaning up the city streets with a broom and dust pan. But you wouldn't go along with that because it would mean poor women might be forced to take birth control pills, or have tubiligations and that is a choice. So being anti-choice you would want the woman to have the baby so you could watch it starve to death.
Now as your read that response you should see the problem that exist between almost every issue of our American society.
I think a government supervised health care plan would offer competition to the greedy drug and health care giants who are killing our society.
You should thank God you have Medicare because you probably couldn't afford Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Your desire is governemnt control . My desire is for for the people to be free.
There was a time when people were embarrassed to be on any kind of welfare and were anxious to succeed so that they would not continue the stigma. There is no shame in America any more. They make it a lifestyle. That is the reason our schools are failing. Those who attend have decided "hey, if I don't make it, I don't have to worry the government will take care of me"
I am not right wing, I am a progressive, liberal, moderate. Most of this country is left leaning liberal. Key word, "leaning".
The right wing that you claim to be have used their fear mongering to convince naive people that progressive liberals are going to take away their guns, do away with God, and turn the nation over to the gays. As big a lie as has ever been foisted on a people. Sort of the same lies that were used by the Nazi party to make them believe all of Germany's problems came from the Jews.
I can assure you, Bonnie, that while you may consider it a compliment, it wasn't meant to be. As a matter of fact, since you live on a Social Security check each month, and have Socialized medical care through Medicare, you should be ashamed to support the very people who would have denied you the right to those programs when they were proposed.
As I said, you can't point to one thing that the Republican party has ever done for the working people of this country. Zilch! And yet you support them because they support economic slavery for those you consider to be lower than you on the southern economic scale.
Now you go ahead and print your little words of propaganda and live in your little protected world.
However, I am right-wing.
Democrats and Repbulicans were right-wing once and this nation was founded on right-wing principles and values.
Thanks for the compliment.
If you are allowing children in your neighborhood to go without medical care, then you are no Christian.
There is no lack of medical care for welfare recipients.
Canadian citizens are pushing for private enterprise while this government is pushing for government control. Here is a column from CBS, if you can believe them and I don’t after the ‘forged documents’ escapade.
“ letter from the Moncton Hospital to a New Brunswick heart patient in need of an electrocardiogram said the appointment would be in three months. It added: "If the person named on this computer-generated letter is deceased, please accept our sincere apologies."
The patient wasn't dead, according to the doctor who showed the letter to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. But there are many Canadians who claim the long wait for the test and the frigid formality of the letter are indicative of a health system badly in need of emergency care.
Americans who flock to Canada for cheap flu shots often come away impressed at the free and first-class medical care available to Canadians, rich or poor. But tell that to hospital administrators constantly having to cut staff for lack of funds, or to the mother whose teenager was advised she would have to wait up to three years for surgery to repair a torn knee ligament.
"It's like somebody's telling you that you can buy this car, and you've paid for the car, but you can't have it right now," said Jane Pelton. Rather than leave daughter Emily in pain and a knee brace, the Ottawa family opted to pay $3,300 for arthroscopic surgery at a private clinic in Vancouver, with no help from the government.
"Every day we're paying for health care, yet when we go to access it, it's just not there," said Pelton.
The average Canadian family pays about 48 percent of its income in taxes each year, partly to fund the health care system. Rates vary from province to province, but Ontario, the most populous, spends roughly 40 percent of every tax dollar on health care, according to the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
The system is going broke, says the federation, which campaigns for tax reform and private enterprise in health care.”
Ron, your information is wrong. More people die who have been put on waiting lists. Americans do not die from lack of health care - they die from obesity, drug use, auto accidents and heart attacks. Even those who have insurance.
I’m sure that if you give 48 percent of your wages to help the poor in your neighborhood, they will appreciate it, however.
You could afford it with your retirement and working too. The Canadians do it on even lower wages.
