Rockingham Police said an officer stopped a vehicle recently because the driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts.
After stopping the vehicle at Pickett Street and U.S. 74 Business, the arresting officer became suspicious and checked for illegal drugs.
At the conclusion of his investigation, 15.1 grams of marijuana was confiscated from among three of the occupants.
Arrested on citations were:
n William Michael Turbeville Jr., 19, Thomasville, was cited for simple possession of marijuana and a seat belt violation.
n Tara Kaitlin, 18, Archdale, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and a seat belt violation.
n David Lee Edwards, 20, Trinity, was cited for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
n Amy Nichole Murray, 19, Thomasville, was cited for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Other arrests by Rockingham police include:
n Tyrone Lamont Covington, 21, 5th Street, Hamlet, was arrested on felony charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, maintaining a place for controlled substances and misdemeanor simple possession of marijuana.
He was released on a written promise to appear in court. During the citation, police seized 10 grams of marijuana and a one-gram marijuana cigarette.
n Tammy Shrell King, 35, Jackson Springs, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court on charges of driving while impaired, driving while license revoked, reckless driving to endanger and having an invalid driver’s license. Bond was set at $1,000.
n Ashley Elizabeth Hardee, 23, McDonald Church Road, Rockingham, was issued a citation on a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting.
n Walter Christopher Stancil, 25, East Railroad Street, Rockingham, was issued a citation for simple possession of marijuana.
n Fantasia Tiesha Hubbard, 17, Bennettsville Road, Hamlet, was issued a citation on a charge of misdemeanor larceny.
n Katie McDonald Wadsworth, 31, Richmond Road Extension, Rockingham, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of larceny. She was released on a written promise to appear in court.
n Terry Lamont Walters, 28, District Heights, Md., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving while license revoked. Bond was set at $500.
n Marcus Lee Ricardo Wilson, 22, Dogwood Lane, Rockingham, was arrested on a felony charge of possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver. Bond was set at $10,000. During the arrest, police seized 17 grams of marijuana.

Incidents reported to Rockingham police include:
n A ring valued at $520 was stolen from a house on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham.
n Police are investigating a suspicious fire which occurred on Old Aberdeen Road, Rockingham, at a vacant house.
n A Monroe woman told police she lost her bank card in Rockingham and later someone obtained over $1,102.90 worth of goods and services in the Rockingham area with it.
n A store at Falling Creek Plaza Shopping Center, Rockingham, told police a suspect stole $34 worth of clothing.
n A car was parked on Village Terrace Drive, Rockingham, when someone broke into it doing $200 damage to a window and stealing an item valued at $300 and loose change.
n On Shannon Drive, Rockingham, someone did $100 damage to a door of a residence.

n Someone stole $3,361 worth of property from a house on Curtis Circle, Hamlet, which included a firearm.
n An object was thrown at a vehicle traveling on Wiregrass Road, Rockingham, which caused $50 damage.
n A handgun valued at $110 was stolen from a residence on Northam Cemetery Road, Rockingham.
n At a house on Greenlake Road, Ellerbe, someone did $100 damage to a door and stole $990 worth of property.
n A dog valued at $100 was stolen from a yard on North Street, Rockingham.
n A brick was thrown at and struck a victim walking on 6th Street, Rockingham, at the railroad tracks.
n A vehicle was broken into a residence on Bill Nicholson Road, Ellerbe, in which $4,000 worth of electronic equipment was stolen.
n A lawn mower valued at $1,000 was stolen from a residence on Farm Lane, Hamlet.
n A victim was assaulted on Firetower Road, Ellerbe.
n The window of a camper parked on McDonald Church Road, Rockingham, was broken causing $300 damage.
n A victim was hit in the face while walking along Richmond Road Extension at Ledbetter Road.
n At a house on West Eason Drive, Rockingham, someone stole at pistol valued at $350 and a $200 camera.
n A bank card was stolen from a house on Mill Road and $90 taken from the account. A $15 wallet was also stolen.
n In a parking lot for a residence on 2nd Street, Ellerbe, someone broke into a vehicle and stole $45 worth of property.
n In an assault case on Sedgefield Road, Rockingham, someone also did $1,350 to the victim’s property.
n At a house on Evelyn court, Rockingham, someone stole a laptop computer valued at $2,500, a $450 Blackberry and a $300 camera.
n On Sedgefield Road, someone did $50 damage to the lock on a building.
n At a house on Easterlng Street, Ellerbe, someone did $300 damage to a door.
n A victim at a house on Sanford Street, Hamlet, was punched in the mouth by a suspect.
n In an incident at a house on Sanford Street, Dobbins Heights, a 21-year-old woman was cut.
