Just the facts?

“And those with a lack of intelligence possess a lack of fear when danger approaches.”

So what do they possess when they have been warned, in writing, a month prior to an attack occurring and they go on vacation after only being in office for eight months? Sounds like blatant, arrogant ignorance to me.

So lets examine some facts. Iraq is a country not much larger than the State of Texas. Their entire military budget was estimated to be about $4 billion a year. We spend more on defense than the entire world combined. We feared Iraq? How were they going to attack us, swim across the ocean?

In 1990-93 we engaged in Desert Storm because Hussein invaded Kuwait. Bush 1 bombed Iraq’s Army, Navy, and Air Force into oblivion.

The U.N. put inspectors on the ground to make sure that Hussein didn’t develop an armed force again. Hussein resisted and obstructed. Clinton bombed suspected targets because Hussein was so belligerent. The inspectors were on the ground again.

Then came Sept. 11, 2001. There were no Al Qaida in Iraq. Hussein was a Bathist so he hated Bin Ladin. Bush 2 used fear to start an un-necessary war.

So why do you live in fear? Who trained you to live in fear? I feel sorry for anyone who lives in the state of fear instead of the United States of America.

And who was it that praised Hussein as a great leader? Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz. Fear them.

Ron Murray Sr.

Jethro or Ellie Mae - Although I am only one voice, I have publicly suggested that Gov. Sanford resign.

Bonnie I have one question for you. How's your governor doing? You always rant and rave about Bill Clinton. Just want to know what you think of your governor.

I hope you get to read this!!!

I think the lack of intelligence is very clear in some of the hate filled, seething, ignorant posts on here.

Keep listening to the likes of Newt, Rush, Sarah, and Cheney, and you'll forever be in the ignorant bliss you like to refer to as "the truth".

Unfortunately, so far, Obama has proven himself to be no Clinton. Obama has inherited himself a mess from Bush, and he's just made himself worse. You cannot clean up a money problem by throwing more money at it. I realize that this may hurt a lot of the constituents and people taking handouts and welfare and the like.

He's good at speaking and making people feel good about things. He should maybe stick to that. Make the tough choices, but make people feel good about doing them - not try and please all the people that aren't really doing a whole lot.

I mean, I do kind of understand the socialist reigment, but the one that covers all the people that are actually DOING SOMETHING. We have plenty of people here in Richmond Co. that are just sitting there NOT DOING ANYTHING. Laid up on the couch - watching the big screen. Looking over at the baby-mama, eating cheetos, complaining about no jobs, wondering when they girl's check is coming in, wishing them kids would shut up so they could hear them talking on that pirated movie - you know!

Obama wil go down in history as the first Black president. I hope he is a success but the things he is doing is catastrophic. However Bush led the way by bailing out the banks and left it wide open for Obama to escalate the mistake.

President Obama is certainly not an idiot. That was a very poor choice of words and indeed says a lot about the person blogging. He is going to be remembered in the History Books! No question about that. He is the first black man ever elected president, for one thing. Second reason is that very few presidents in this country have inherited more severe problems when coming into office than Obama has. Whose fault is this? Most of it if due to the last presidential administration namely Geo. Bush. It is going to take years to straighten out the mess that the Republican Party has made!

Ron, you don't care about Bush because he's rebublican and also you don't care about yourself. Too bad. You complain about Bush being the worst president, well I think in the coming years we will have to pull ourselves outta a depression because of Osama Obama. He just loves to handout money. He's an idiot. I think one day his abortion views will bring him face to face with the master of heaven and he's gonna be quaking in his shoes. Like I said before Ronnie, you need to let it go. Let go Ron, just let it go.

Actually, Bocep, I could care less about Bush the man. I think he is an idiot of the highest degree. He rode his daddy's coat tails all of his life. He would have been in jail except for the fact his name was Bush. Even the old man doesn't like him as much as he does Jeb. He even cried in public about the woes of Jeb's political career because of W's screw ups.

Bush is a psycho path. His only interest in starting the War in Iraq was so that he could be a War Time President like his daddy. And he wanted to be better than his daddy but it didn't work out. No flower petals in front of our tanks. He listened to his puppetmasters who were suppose to make it so he went down in history as a great leader. Instead he is going to go down as one of the worst, if not the worst, President we have ever endured. More and more comes out every day, thanks to his main puppetmaster, Dick Cheney.

Ron, you want Bonnie to check her mental stability? You need to really check yours. You are like a stuck record. Your hatred of Bush will bring you down. Why do you hate so much? You really must be a truly miserable man. Bush is gone now. How about let sleeping dogs lie now, eh? Lets all move on. You need to move on Ron. Hope you feel better Bonnie. That pnumonia is very tough. I've had it a few times too.

Bonnie, all I can say is that their are some very weird people in this world. You can trust me on this, I would not ever invade anyone's privacy at any time. Although a description of my home, and some of my personal belongings have been posted on this website I have never tried to find out who the person actually was nor have I told them to stop.

This world gets stranger by the day. If the younger people in this nation don't start finding a way to bring themselves back to a position of decency and decorum then they will have a really rough row to hoe when they get our age, and you are almost 20 years older than me.

I guess the author of your letters think they are having a grand old time trying to upset you. Obviously they do not know, "pardon the term" that you are a tough old bird. You may be set in your twisted way of thinking but I love you anyway. How you like them apples?

Thanks, hamlet for the suggestion - but neither I or the postal service can spot letters when a different type envelope is used. This was sent in a greeting card envelope and I thought it was a get-well card. Evidently this individual is not familiar with the message board here and I don't believe he/she is too familiar with the computer. I believe it to be a young college student since the envelope although a greeting card envelope had an slightly engraved, almost invisible, college name.

and is familiar with the one side of politics.

There was a last name on the second part of the letter. (Ron's was on the first part) I searched but there are many by that name in that area. I sent a message of apology to Ron but it wasn't posted. I suppose that was because I posted the last name in the message.

I will just ignore from now on.

Bonnie, obviously you have made an enemy, and it is not I nor do I believe that it is Ron. Maybe you whould consider contacting the postal authorities again and offer to cooperate this time.

Bonnie, have you been to a doctor recently to check your mental stability? I never sent you a letter, would never send you a letter, have no reason to send you a letter, and I have no idea who who Roy Innis is or who his wife is.

So who ever sent you the letter must have been trying to get a rise out of you. I promise, it was not me.

As far as your other statement. If someone told Bush a lie don't you think he should have checked it out before he invaded another nation that had done nothing to us. We had no quarrel with Iraq. We had a quarrel with Afghanistan because the supported Osama Bin Ladin. Where is he anyway? So the people responsible for the destruction and death at the World Trade Center are still roaming free. And we spent our nations wealth in an un-necessary war. And the wealth we lost are the almost 4,500 of our finest and bravest. For what?

Ron, thanks for the info that is have just received 2 min. ago. And I appreciate your signature so that I can responsd. It's very frustrating to get these one-sided letter to which one cannot respond. I haven't had time to go through it all but I will soon. I know about Roy Innis His wife (or ex-wife, I'm not sure) lives here in the County. Innis could never run for president anyway because he was not born in America.

His wife is one of the most educated and brightest people you would ever want to meet.

Many of us have associates in our past that turn out to be real bad people, such as Bush' past associates but are insignificant as far as our beliefs or our political views are concerned.

I'm flattered that you would go to this extent to inform me. I will get back to you later on this one!

I'm just getting over pneumonia and believe me, it was a rough deal!

Thanks again for not making this one-sided as other letters

"Bush Administration lied us into an un-necessary war."

Ron, just to keep things from getting to boring here, chew on this. Is this the lie that you are speaking of.

"People can quarrel with whether we should have more troops in Afghanistan or internationalize Iraq or whatever, but it is incontestable that on the day I left office, there were unaccounted for stocks of biological and chemical weapons."

Guess who said this. It definitely was not President Bush

kang, what planet do you live on anyway. What does my having to go to Iraq have to do with the fact that the Bush Administration lied us into an un-necessary war. We did not need to attack Iraq. They were in no position to attack this country, big army or small.

It was all about proving that he was a better War President than his Daddy and Cheney's control of the oil fields for his former employer, Haliburton. And the price of gasoline is a direct result of the greed that grips this nation. Greed that is now the hallmark of every large corporation living virtually tax free at our expense.

And I have seen those people for myself. I worked with them and lived around them. All they want is to raise their children in peace just like we do. And they are not as stupid as you seem to think they are.

You can think of me what you want. That does not change the facts. And if you study history you will find that every nation, and that is every nation, who became a military bully, trying to dominate the world, was destroyed. Not from without, from within. The road you want us to go down is the most destructive we could travel.

Take the chip off your shoulder, Kang, you ain't that brilliant yourself.

what an idiot....your the type that can look out the window and see it raining and still walk outside and not believe it.

there is more to terrorism than having a big army. Look at gas go up now, they said we can stand it. If your so smart, go there and see those people for your self. The problem with your kind is you stay stateside and talk about things you have not a clue about. Go there and see for your self....idiot

The Gulf War was in 1990-91, not 93. It is a typo.

George H. W. Bush was a hero as a President because of what he did in Gulf Storm by running Saddam Hussein back into Iraq. But he lost his political advantage when he faced facts and raised taxes after promising not too. I believe he was an honorable man, but a man driven by Corporate dominance at the expense of the working people of this country. It cost him a second term.
