McLendon is daughter of Charlene McLendon and Robin Douglas. She is a sophomore who plans to major in nursing.
She is also the granddaughter of Mattie McLendon and Douglas. She is a member of Chapel Grove Church of Ellerbe.
She was also named to the Dean’s List and is a 2007 graduate of Richmond County Senior High School.
