I would like to commend Steve Earwood and the folks at Rockingham Dragway for bringing special events to our community. The recent motorcycle event brought thousands of extra people — and their money — to town.
Every motel, gas station and restaurant had motorcycles in front of them. Our economy is slow, and things like this really do help. I would like to say a big thank you to Mr. Earwood and his staff for bringing special events to us.
