These men put their lives in danger with every fire they respond to. The things that are going on and being done to them is wrong. It is not just about money.
These men are hard working individuals, some do work other jobs to provide for their families. Just go out and talk to their friends and families if you want to know what is happening. Talk to the police officers, a lot of people can tell you just how bad these men have been talked to and being treated.
The report in the paper was a watered down version.
Please support these men that respond to your calls. It may be your home they are saving, or your family member they are pulling out of an automobile accident to save their life.
What if these men went on strike. What would happen with no one there to respond. Citizens, think about all this when it comes time for re-election.

Thanks Roger for your article. We hope the citizens of Rham do support the fireman & fire dept as a whole, not just union or non-union members. Everyone has the right to be heard, whether it be by themselves or by a lawyer, depending on the circumstances. My husband lays his life on the line everytime the tones go off & as he puts on his turnout gear to prepare for the unkown. May God be with each & everyone of the RFD members & their families during this difficult time. May God also give wisdom & courage to the ones above who oversee these guys that they will use good judgement in the upcoming decisions that are going to have to be made.
