Janet Stroman, a computer lab assistant at Mineral Springs Elementary School has been selected to receive the Richmond Educator's Memorial Scholarship. Janet is enrolled in the RCC/UNCP transfer program and is working toward her license to teach in Richmond County Schools. Stroman (left) is pictured with Mineral Springs Elementary Principal, Terri Brown. The Richmond Educator's Memorial Scholarship was established in 1974 to assist Richmond County educators, worthy graduates, and teacher assistants who are pursuing teacher certification, undergraduate or graduate degrees in the field of education.
