Rockingham police have recently arrested five people in connection with the illegal possession of marijuana.
Milo Ibe Blake, 31, Watson Avenue, Rockingham, was arrested on felony charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, possession of cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances; and misdemeanor possession of Schedule III drugs. His bond was set at $10,000.
During the arrest, police seized 21 grams of marijuana, one gram of cocaine and 10 prescription drugs pills.
Ryan Anthony Howell, 23, Bear Branch Road, Rockingham, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana; resisting, delaying and obstructing an arrest; and intoxicated and disruptive. Bond was set at $2,500.
He was arrested after police were called to a disturbance on Cabel Drive, Rockingham.
At that incident, police also arrested William Brothell Bostick, 22, Pine Cone Circle, Rockingham, on a misdemeanor charge of trespass. Bond was set at $500. China Carol Coles, 22, Greenland Drive, Rockingham, was issued a citation for having an open container of alcohol.
In other cases:
n Chesley Martin Bowwel III, 20, Greensboro, was issued a citation on charges for simple possession of marijuana and a headlight violation.
n Robert Murray Benson, 20, Murrell’s Inlet, S.C., was issued a citation on charges for simple possession of marijuana and speeding.
n James William Robinson, 28, Green Chapel Church Road, Hamlet, was issued a citation on a charge of simple possession of marijuana.

Other arrests by Rockingham police include:
n Anastasia Lashawn Quick, 19, Cauthen Drive, Rockingham, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of larceny. Bond was set at $500.
n Billy Ray Miller Jr., 46, Cabel Drive, Rockingham, was arrested on charge of assault on a female. He was held in Richmond County Jail until a judge set bond.
n Jason Jmell Bingham, 27, Long Drive, Rockingham, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of misdemeanor probation violation and driving while impaired.
n Fletcher Delaine Bryant, 21, Robinson Street, Rockingham, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of driving while license revoked, driving while impaired and having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
n Patsy Ann Lockear, 57, Sunset Beach, was arrested on warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of allowing an unlicensed person to drive and aiding and abetting an impaired driver. Bond was set at $500.
n Joseph Neal Oxendine, 32, Cardinal Drive, Rockingham, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of making a harassing phone call and a threatening phone call. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
n Anastasia Lashawn Quick, 19 Cauthen Drive, Rockingham, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of larceny in Union County. Bond was set at $500.
n Tina Marie Rushing, 38, Lakeview Trail, Rockingham, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia; and resisting, obstructing and delaying an arrest.

Incidents reported to Rockingham police include:
n Someone broke into a vehicle parked on Deweese Avenue, Rockingham, and stole $740 worth of property.
n Three tires were cut on a vehicle parked on Eastside Drive, Rockingham, causing $250 damage.
n At a house being remodeled on Maness Avenue, Rockingham, someone did $525 damage to windows.
n Windows on a car parked at an institution on East Franklin Street, Rockingham, were broken causing $200 damage.
n Gasoline valued at $10.22 was stolen from a store on East Broad Avenue, Rockingham.
n Paint sprayed on walls and a bus at an institution on Wall Street, Rockingham, where windows were also broken, caused $300 damage.
n Paint sprayed on walls at an institution on Hawthorne Avenue, Rockingham, caused $100 damage.
n Damage to a vehicle parked at a business on U.S. 1, Rockingham, was estimated at $500.
n A rock was thrown through a window of a house on Palmer Street, Rockingham, causing $100 damage.
n Someone did $100 damage to a door of a house on Cauthen Drive, Rockingham.
n On Cabel Drive, someone did $400 damage to a parked car.
n A vehicle license tag valued at $20 was stolen from a vehicle parked at a business on East Broad avenue.
n A Rockingham woman told police someone stole $5,262.46 worth of jewelry from her house.
n At a store on East Washington Street, Rockingham, a suspect stole $37.19 worth of meat products.
n At a house on Ann Street, Rockingham, someone did $120 damage to a door and $50 damage to a window.
n Police were informed, along with the Richmond County Department of Social Services that a baby born at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital had cocaine in its blood.
n A purse was stolen from a house on McArthur Drive, Rockingham, for a loss of $1,400 and bank cards.

n At a house on Hamer Mill Road, Rockingham, someone did $1,100 damage to a car parked there.
n Gasoline valued at $26.20 was stolen from a store on Airport Road, Rockingham.
n Bracelets valued at $8,000 were stolen from a store on Mill Road, Rockingham.
