Wendy Annette Odom, 33, South Street, Rockingham, was arrested in jail on a charge of felony possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance on jail premises.
If convicted, the charge could make her a habitual felon, Glidewell said.
The drug was identified as clonazapane.

n Four-wheel vehicle parts valued at $480 were stolen from a house on Billy Covington Road, Rockingham.
n A woman on McDonald Church Road, Rockingham, told deputies someone was using her bank debit card without permission.

n At a business on East Broad Avenue, Rockingham, someone did $300 damage to a window and stole a $600 television set.
n At another business on East Broad Avenue, someone did $500 damage to a parked vehicle.
n Someone stole $18.74 worth of items from a store at Falling Creek Plaza.
