SOUTHERN PINES — Despite starter Ricky Holden’s 14-strikeout performance, the Richmond baseball team only mustered three hits and committed four errors in a 4-1 loss to Mid-Southeastern Conference rival Pinecrest.

Luke Bullard supplied the only offense of the night with a solo home run, while Dylan Davenport went 1-for-3 with a double and Corey Wallace had Richmond’s other hit of the game.

The loss dropped the Raiders’ record to 12-6 overall and 6-4 in the conference.

The Raiders play a make-up game today at Audrey Kell as part of a junior varsity/varsity doubleheader.
