A Highway Patrol spokesperson said that Ronzell Dante Bridges, 18, 117 Maple Leaf Drive, died in the single-car accident.
The driver of the vehicle overcorrected, running it off the road to the left on a straight stretch of road, according to the patrol. The vehicle overturned multiple times and came to rest in the middle of a field.
The spokesperson said officials believe Bridges was the driver, but noted that the final report has not been written and the matter was still under investigation.
The vehicle had at least one other occupant who suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the spokesperson.
