Avant was a hero

I was born in Rockingham but now I live in Asheboro. Words cannot say how proud I am for the ultimate sacrifice Mr. Jerry Avant gave of himself in this tragedy that has left so many people in disbelief

He surely was not thinking of himself when he tried to stop this terrible act. He will become a standard of what bravery stands for. I hope and pray the family he has left behind can find peace in knowing how much of a hero Mr.Avant is. Rest in peace and God bless.

Yes sir I will go along with you on that.He was a fine guy.I know his Daddy and some of his kin and they are fine people.Now we need to get some street ,bridge,or a a marker on the courthouse lawn.If anybody wants to get in and lets get it done for a fine young man.Call Peter or Rick At the RCDJ and they can get me by phone.
