An agreement has been struck between Time Warner Cable and the Cox Media-owned Charlotte television stations WSOC-TV and WAXN-TV to keep their programming on the air for subscribers to the cable provider.

“I am happy to announce that there will be no program disruption for our viewers who look forward to watching their favorite ABC shows, Eyewitness News, Action News at 10 p.m. and Oprah and Dr. Phil in primetime on WAXN,” the two stations’ General Manager Joe Pomilla said in a press release.

“We are pleased that WSOC-TV agreed to a fair and reasonable agreement that is in the best interest of our customers,” Time Warner Cable Carolina Region Executive Vice President Carol Hevey said in a release.
