Dear Editor,

I live in the area of the Wolfpit Community, at Osborne and Perry Leviner roads, and there is a problem with a young man racing up and down these highways.

He’s making loud noises on his ATV or in his vehicle. It causes a problem to the people in the area because we have elderly people with heart problems that cannot tolerate the noise. Also there are three or four people that work third shift and cannot get enough sleep because of the loud noises this young man is making with his vehicles.

The law enforcement has been called about the situation but so far nothing has been done. My question is, how does anyone solve this problem?

I live in this community and you are right this goes on almost every day The people that do this have no respect for anyone and I think that law enforcement should make more of an effort to patrol this community, there are several elderly people that live here. I have been woken late at night by these riders, they are suppose to be off the road at night, and some that drive a vehicle don't have proper exhaust on their vehicle if more law enforcement would check these vehicles

I live on Horseshoe Rd and it is a mess with these 4 wheeler's running up and down the road's around here day and night. They are wide open and riding wheelie's racing on all the roads between here and Old Cheraw Rd an Osborne running up and down US#1 to the Wolf Pit Bar.Some one is going to get hurt if the Sheriff's Dept and Highway patrol do not do something about it and the one's that do get caught the court's just give them a fine and court cost and a slap on the back.I.ve had them to run out in front of me driving down US#1 and Sandhill Rd.Start taking picture's and video them and turn it into the Highway Patrol and if you know their names give it to them as well. The Sheriff's Dept is not going to do much about it so call the Highway Patrol or call the State of NC to complain.Picture's and video are worth alot in Court.ITs time to take it into our own hands.
