Alexis Denise Gibson was honored with a birthday party at Pizza Inn on Jan. 5, 2013. Her birthday was Jan. 6. She is 6 years old.
Dora was used as the party theme and guests enjoyed pizza, salad and cake.
Alexis is the daughter of James H. McDonald Jr. and Nicki P. McDonald of Hamlet. Helping her celebrate was her brother, Caleb Gibson, great-grandparents, Thomas and Tiny Parker of Cordova, grandparents, Mike and Ophelia Metropol of Cordova, great-uncle, Bo and aunt, Connie Parker, Ted Lathan, Mrs. C. Lathan, Joanna Lathan, Sheldon, Moniqua, Edgerrin, Jadan, Tania and Lil Sheldon Starnes-Smith, Rosie, Kairi, Kimahri and Moe Smith, Sharon and Lyn Coleman, Lila Scott Lipford, Brandy and Barry Parrish, Sebastian Quick, Lorie and David Holmes, Austin and Megan Taylor, Ayden Batson and Courtney Coward. Alexis’ grandmother, Ann McDonald, was not able to attend but sent gifts.
