The Hamlet Police Department recently made the following arrests:

• Shontel M. Lindsey, 28, of 161 Cabel Drive, Rockingham, was arrested for resisting a public officer. She was placed under a $1,000 secured bond.

• Brenda Gail Ratliff, 35, 1005 Quail Hollow Drive, Hamlet, was arrested for simple assault. She was placed in Richmond County Jail.

• Antonio Demetrice Hemingway, 23, of 1005 Quail Hollow Drive, was arrested for assault on a female. He was placed in Richmond County Jail.

• Earl B. Leonard, 73, of 122 Minturn Ave., Hamlet, was arrested for trespassing. He was placed in Richmond County Jail.

• Antwannequea Sharon Short, 20, of 324 Buttercup Drive, Hamlet, was arrested for failure to appear-reckless driving. She was placed under a $500 secured bond.

• Jose Algerto Acosta Bocanecora, 30, of 114 Jones St., Hamlet, was arrested for second degree rape. He was placed under a $100,000 secured bond.

• Kiara Sada Reader, 21, of 618 Charlotte St., Hamlet, was arrested for assault and battery. She was released on her own recognizance to appear in court.

• Raimun Jackson, 41, of 401 Beeker Ave., Hamlet, was arrested for misdemeanor larceny and assault. He was placed in Richmond County Jail.

• Deborah Elaine Bryant, 43, of 110 Bridges St., Hamlet, was arrested for simple assault. She was released on her own recognizance to appear in court.

• Jamie Louise Patterson, 34, 211 Dirt Road, Hamlet, was arrested for breaking and entering and violation of a court order. She was placed under a $2,000 secured bond.

• Albert Lemont Huggins, 18, of 163 Stokes Road, Rockingham, was arrested for breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. He was placed under a $10,000 secured bond.

• Laura McLean, 30, of 1012 Whitlock Drive, Hamlet, was arrested for driving while license revoked. She was released on her own recognizance.

• Gerald Laquan Zeigler, 21, 105 Luevora Lane, Hamlet, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon, failure to appear-failure to wear a seat belt and driving while license revoked. He was placed under a $10,500 secured bond.

• Tavon Kikon Morrison, 27, 311 Park St., Hamlet, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon. He was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.

• William Randolph Willard Jr., 44, of 627 Oak Ave., Hamlet, was arrested for assault on a female. He was released on her own recognizance to appear in court.

Other recent reports from the Hamlet Police Department include:

• Breaking and entering, assault and battery and injury to real property was reported at a residence on Oak Avenue.

• Misdemeanor larceny was reported at a residence on Switch Street.

• Domestic violence was reported at a residence on Freeman Mill Road.

• Misdemeanor larceny was reported at a residence on Corning Street.

• Attempted breaking and entering was reported at a residence on North Street.

• Larceny was reported at a residence on Ellen Drive.
