Amber Marie McIntyre and Joshua Seth Chavis, both of Rockingham, announce their engagement and upcoming union.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Ronald Edward McIntyre and Betty Gallo McCune. She is the granddaughter of the late Paul Gallo, Ray McIntyre, Marion McIntyre, Thomas and Virginia Connor. Amber is a 2011 graduate of Faith Academy and is studying Pre Nursing at Richmond Community College. She is currently employed as a CNA at Bayada Home Health and at KC’s Biker Barn.
The groom-elect is the son of Ronnie Wayne Chavis and Angela Dawne Chavis. He is the grandson of the late Walter Chavis, Donnie Forbis, Tilly Shankle, Janice Chavis, Linda Forbis, and Clay and Debbie Berry. Joshua is a 2011 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and is currently employed as a mason with R&D Masonry.
A wedding is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the home of the groom’s parents.
