Morgan Elaine King and Andrew Scott, both of Rockingham, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony King of Rockingham, and Lisa Lovin Sharpe of Rockingham, and the granddaughter of J.D. King and the late Lois King of Rockingham, and Mr. and Mrs. David Lovin of Rockingham. She is a 2007 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and a 2010 graduate of Richmond Community College. Morgan is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital, Rockingham.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Scott of Rockingham, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Scott of Rockingham, and Elaine Liskey and the late Claude Liskey of Harrisburg, Va. He is a graduate of Richmond Senior High School and a 2011 graduate of U.N.C. -Charlotte, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Andrew is currently employed with the State of North Carolina.
A wedding is planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Cordova Baptist Church. A reception will follow at Hinson Lake.
