Tessie Mae Goins Brown, 89, of 124 Hilltop Road, Ellerbe, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at H.C.R. Manor Care in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at St. Luke Free Baptist Church in Ellerbe, with Reverend Kevin B. Henry. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Public viewing will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, at McLendon Funeral Home, Ellerbe.
She was born in Richmond County, July 25, 1923, a daughter of the late Giles Goins and Sally Capel Goins.
Brown is survived by one son, Carvester Goins Jr. of Ellerbe, one grandson and one great grandson.
McLendon Funeral Home is assisting the family.
