Mrs. Thelma Wall Robinson, 80, of 1504 N.C. 145, Lilesville, died on Monday, March 16 at Anson County Community Hospital in Wadesboro.

She was born June 16, 1928 in Anson County, the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Sarah Spencer Wall. She was a member of Centenary A.M.E. Zion Church in Lilesville.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Robinson, and two daughters, Deloris “Lois” Robinson and Maggie Dequilla “Dee” Robinson.

She is survived by her children, Jackie Robinson, of Wadesboro; Sugar Ray Robinson, of Rockingham; Vancine Robinson-Sturdivant, of Lilesville; Robert Lee Robinson, of Hamlet; Patricia Ann Robinson, of Lilesville; and Nathan Leon Robinson, of Lilesville; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Centenary A.M.E. Zion Church in Lilesville, with Rev. John L. Wall and Rev. John L. McCullers officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday from 1 to 7 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Service of Rockingham.
