Edna Lavern Diggs McLean,60, Rockingham died Monday, December 10. Funeral will be held Friday, December 14, 2pm at Providence Missionary Baptist Church, Rockingham, Pastor and Eulogist Rev. Dr. Lamont J. Johnson, Sr. Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery, Rockingham.
Public viewing from 1-8pm on Thursday, December 13 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington St., Rockingham.
Edna was the daughter of the late Earl L. Diggs,Sr and Jannie M. Diggs. Survivors include mother Jannie ; three children Vernon McLean, Jr of Inez, Kentucky; Kijafa McDaniel of Laurinburg, NC; Kari Littlejohn of Cary, NC; five siblings Earl Diggs, Jenella Turman, Sharon McBride, Melba Howell, Cedric Diggs ; five grandchildren Denita Barksdale, Kenisha McNeil, Keyana McDougald, Keion McDaniel, K-mari McDaniel.
Nelson Funeral Service in Rockingham is assisting the family.
