The artwork of three talented students has been chosen for the 2012 Superintendent’s Christmas Card Art Contest.

Richmond County Schools recognized Carley Lambeth, Abigail Blackmon and Lauren Wilbun as winners of this year’s contest, which encourages students to submit a holiday-themed picture for a chance to be featured on the district Christmas cards sent out by Superintendent George Norris and the Board of Education during the holiday season.

The three winners were honored at Tuesday’s Board of Education meeting in Hamlet. Lambeth is a 5th grader at L.J. Bell Elementary School, Blackmon is an 8th grader at Rockingham Middle School and Wilbun is a senior at Richmond Senior High School.
